Red Sociológica is a university student association that emerged in 2020 at the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology, with the aim of energizing student life—particularly among those pursuing a degree in Sociology.

Among the various activities carried out, the most notable is the podcast “Sociópolis”, which is recorded weekly in the Faculty’s radio lab. The podcast has completed its first season and is currently preparing to launch its second.

Sociopolis Podcast

 
The Asociación Red Sociológica aims to promote critical thinking, media literacy, and sociological awareness through digital content, community engagement, and educational activities. The project focuses on combating misinformation, encouraging civic participation, and making sociology accessible and relevant to a broad public.

 

 

 

TARGET AUDIENCE:

 

 

  • Youth and young adults (students and early professionals) interested in social sciences, current affairs, and digital media.
  • Educators and academic communities seeking engaging ways to promote sociological dialogue.
  • General public, particularly in vulnerable or underrepresented communities, including people with intellectual disabilities, who benefit from inclusive workshops and accessible content.
  • Digital media users, especially on platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and Instagram.
